This week our learning journey has centred on the story of The Three Little Pigs! Fairy tales are great learning tools in kindergarten, as they help to:
- Enhance vocabulary
- Expand imagination and creativity;
- Explore strong morals and values; and
- Promote hopes and dreams.
Together we:
- Read the book out loud;
- Decorated cardboard houses with straw, sticks and bricks – ably guided by the very crafty Nicole Mattingly;
- Performed the story, filmed it and hosted a screening of our very own play;
- Built our very own cardboard houses.
