Dear Parents/Carers,

Thanks for your expression of interest in attending Padbury Community Kindergarten.  Some additional information on the application and enrolment process is provided below. If you requested more information we will be in contact with you shortly.

• Enrolment is a two-part process. First applications are submitted. After the closing date, application numbers are assessed and Enrolment places are offered. Please note that application does not guarantee a place in this Kindergarten. Your child's 2024 Application for Kindergarten must be lodged by Friday July 21st 2023.

• To be eligible for kindergarten in 2024 children must turn 4 by June 30, 2024. Proof of age (via birth certificate or extract) must be provided.

• Only one application can be submitted for your child to attend a Public school in WA,  including Community Kindergartens.

• Your application form may be completed online, or printed and returned to the kindergarten via mail or email. If emailing, check for a confirmation email.

• We offer 20 places per Kindergarten class - at this time we cannot confirm whether we will run one or two class streams in 2024.

• If we receive more applications than places available, selection criteria will be applied.

• The date of application is not one of the selection criteria. See the Department of Education website for full criteria.

• It is an Education Department requirement that all children enrolling in Kindergarten are fully immunised, or completing an immunisation catch up schedule.

• If your child is offered a place at Padbury Community Kindergarten you will receive an Enrolment Form to complete. Further information documents such as Immunisation records, and Court Orders or Visa Papers (if applicable), are required at this stage.

Open Day

We love our annual open day and any opportunity to open the doors to our wonderful Kindergarten. However, due to the current health climate we are unsure if this can happen. More information will be available on our website and on our Facebook page.
